Hengifosslodge is located in beautiful Fljotsdalen in a picturesque, peaceful landscape surrounded by forest and a breathtaking view of Lagarfljot.

An ideal place to relax and enjoy. Stay with us in harmony with nature. The lodge has cozy apartments, all comfortably equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom and spacious living area and a beautiful view of the river.

Enjoy the beauties of East Iceland and explore the unique landscape on extensive hikes, be fascinated by the unique Northern Lights or watch the reindeer. Great sights include the Hengifoss waterfall and Vatnajokull National Park.

The center of Egilsstadir can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
